I'm still not sure how time goes by so fast and I manage not to keep my blog updated. Anyways, let me try to catch you up.
We went to Jason's work a couple of weeks ago to visit. Gibson is absolutely fascinated with ambulances. He always wants to see the lights. I'm not posting it but I have a picture of Gibson actually opening the door to the ambulance like he's fixing to jump in and take a call.
Somewhat disappointing to his dad, Gibson also likes fire trucks (just not as much as ambulances). You would think by his reaction that this is the first time for him to see an ambulance or a fire truck. What you may not know is that he sees one or the other (sometimes both) every 3rd day when Jason works.
Here we are snuggled up on the coach not feeling very good. We caught the "yuck" that was going around. Thank God we haven't caught the flu (yet...knock on wood). Poor little cousin Payden has had it twice in 3 weeks. :(
Once Gibson was feeling better, the acoustic part of Post Oak Savannah came over for a short practice. Gibson sat in and picked with the best of them.
He knows exactly how to hold the pick (and how to drop them inside the guitar).
Usually in the mornings, I give Gibson his breakfast and then I'm sort of "in and out" of the kitchen while I get ready and Gibson eats. One morning, he decided to watch TV and eat his breakfast in the living room. This is how I found him.
Then on Sunday, when it was 70 degrees outside, Gibson followed me out to the truck to get something. Like the outfit? That shirt is WAY too small for him (size 18 months) but he INSISTED on wearing it. And the shoes are Jason's. I can already tell he's going to be one of those guys who'll go check the mail in his underwear. I haven't a clue where he gets his fashion sense.
So Sunday, it's 70 degrees and sunny. Monday morning, we've got almost 4 inches of snow on the ground and it's in the 20's. Texas weather...you gotta love it. So Gibson got all bundled up to go play in the snow for the very first time before we had to be at school. His very first step into the snow.
"What is this stuff Mom?"
He took off walking thru the snow like no body's business. (BTW, I'm such a hick.) Anyways, he loved it and thought it was so funny.
"What did you say this stuff is supposed to do?"

Before we went outside, I was putting on my shoes and Gibson says to Jason & I "Let's build a snowman." It was so weird. We hadn't discussed building a snowman at all. But Jason wanted to build Gibson one so here's a picture of Jason's 2 minute snowman. Pretty sad looking, huh?
Just a few pics of Gibson in the snow.
Giving my big boy kisses!

It was so fun watching Aubrie's reaction to the snow too! I wish I had more time to play in it with her, but I had to go to work. I managed to get a couple of pics though! Enjoyed reading about your little guy! He looks so much like some of my brother's pics when he was little - I think its his hair.
