Shoot! This is a post I started working on weeks ago & completely forgot about it. Some of the info is no longer current. Like Brody just starting to eat cereal. We are WAY past the just cereal stage & well on our way to eating several jars of baby food a day. I know it doesn't surprise you a bit that the kid LOVES to eat. LOL So here's my belated post on our fun Sunday trip to Dallas. Oh well! Better late than never!
Brody has started eating cereal from a spoon. He does pretty good with it. Mostly he just sucks the spoon. Oh well. I don't think missing a meal is going to hurt this kid. :)
Can you please get the camera out of my face?
Why are you shoving this stuff in my face??
Poor B almost has too much junk in his trunk for his bumbo chair. His butt gets stuck in the chair when I try to get him out. (Current info: B has stretched his fat some with a few inches in length so he no longer gets stuck in his bumbo chair.)
A couple of weekends ago, we took the boys to the
Museum of Nature & Science in Dallas. Gibson had so much fun. For weeks after our visit, Gibson kept saying he wanted to go back to the "cool duseum". I guess he was impressed! On the other hand, Brody wasn't impressed. He basically slept or ate. What a life?!?
They have a place where you can dig for dinosaur bones. Very cool!
There was also a fire station with a fire truck & bunker gear for the kids to wear. This was BY FAR Gibson's favorite part. You would think G would get tired of the whole fire truck/ambulance fasination. But he doesn't. He kept begging to go back to the fire truck to play.
They had a periscope. (I was very impressed with this.)
Brody enjoying the farm portion of the museum.
Gibson riding his big green tri-tractor.
Gibson also got to milk a cow! As you can see he wasn't into it too much.
There was a spider web that you could crawl on. Gibson was a big fat cheater & just crawled under it.
Brody still just chilling in his car seat. This was right before he puked all over me so that I could walk through the rest of the museum with spit up on my shirt & pants from my shoulder to my knee. The kid is super talented when it comes to spitting up.
Current info: Thank God B isn't spitting up near as much now as he was then. :-)
Making some giant bubbles with Dad
There you have it! We had lots of fun & look forward to taking B when he's big enough.
